Teenagers show interest for professional training at STÖGER
For the 2nd time the town of Geretsried near Königsdorf organised a day dedicated to career orientation. 9th graders were invited to take a look at local companies and learn more about professional training offers.
This year 20 students were given the opportunity to learn more about the professional career of an industrial mechanic. Divided up into 2 groups, the teenagers were shown around the production and assembly areas where they got a first impression of industrial processes before they were invited to try out jobs like filing and soldering.
STÖGER AUTOMATION offers careers as product designer, metal-cutting mechanic, industrial mechanic and electronic technician for automation industries and has 4 apprentices at the moment.
