10,000 euros for a good cause
When everyone at STÖGER AUTOMATION celebrates together at the end of the year, the social commitment does not fall short. At the annual STÖGER AUTOMATION Christmas party there is always a tombola and an auction for the employees. Because it is for a good cause, the employees give their money generously for the lottery and also bid for the valuable top prizes. The proceeds were saved up for 2 to 3 years and then this sum was matched by the managing director. The complete amount will be donated to social projects in the district. As a result, a total of 10,000 euros was gathered together for good causes once again after the last Christmas party. It is important to employees and management alike to support projects in the district. For this reason, this year's selection was blut eV from Königsdorf, an association devoted to the struggle against leukaemia, the Geretsried food bank who provide food to people in need, the family care association that provides support in difficult family situations and the "Readers help" campaign from the Geretsrieder Merkur [newspaper] and Tölzer Kurier [newspaper] which provides aid in emergencies throughout the district.
The cheques were handed over at STÖGER AUTOMATION in Königsdorf on the 23rd of January. A donation of 2,500 euros was passed on to each project. Michaela Karg, the representative from blut eV, expressed her thanks on behalf of all of them. "We are delighted with your generosity and will ensure that every euro will be practically used in projects for those who need it."
