Career orientation Day
On July 15, 2014 the first Geretsried project day “Career Orientation” took place. 9th grade students were invited to come and take a closer look at one of the participating companies. General Manager Lorenz Stöger welcomed 20 students who wanted to learn more about the professional training as an industrial mechanic. After watching the promotion film and being shown around the company premises the teenagers were invited to try out their skills at 3 work stations: filing, soldering and screwdriving. The objects they manufactured were taken home as a souvenir of an informative and interesting day.
STÖGER AUTOMATION offers apprenticeships for the following jobs: industrial mechanic, product designer, metal-cutting mechanic and electronic technician for automation technology.
